  3. The purpose for processing your personal data is to assist seafarers in planning and conducting training necessary to obtain / renewal of qualifications meeting requirements referred to in the Act on maritime safety and in international agreements and conventions (STCW, STCW-F, SOLAS, MLC).
  4. The Data Controller may also process your personal data if:
    a) processing is necessary to fulfil the legal obligation bestowed upon the Data Controller;
    b) processing is necessary to protect the vital interests of the Data Subject.
  5. Providing Personal Data referred to in Pt. 2 is voluntary, although it is necessary to fulfil the purposes of personal data processing specified in Pt. 3 and may also be necessary to achieve the purposes referred to in Pt. 4.
  6. Your personal data is not subject to automated profiling and will not be processed for purposes other than those specified in Pt. 3 and 4.

Your personal data may be transferred to the training centers providing training services referred to in Chapter 4 of the Act of 18 August 2011 on Maritime Safety (consolidated text: Journal of Laws 2020.0.680) only in relation to the purposes of the processing set out in Pt. 3 and 4. The transfer of your personal data to entities and natural persons other than the above-mentioned will take place only with your prior consent.

At any time, you are entitled to access your personal data, rectify it, delete or limit the scope of processing, as well as exercise the right to object to the processing and the exercise the right to transfer data. You can exercise these rights directly at the Controller's correspondence address, in writing, by means of electronic communication or by phone.
